Tekkid + Curt Martin/ Djshows.com:

Be prepared come Feb.22nd to hear these 2 aspiring dj's ready to unleash some dirty techno beats. In the meantime, check out their Technificent radio show on www.djshows.com on Tuesday nights from 8-midnight.

The Dukes:

What began as a friendly session of back to back dj'ing 2 years ago, has quickly grown into an aspiring relationship and partnership for dj's @m + kf. Always intense in the mix, the Dukes ridde a line of quirkiness through techno, house, electro and bass. Their talent has sent them to NYC and Windsor without so much as record released and seen them play on billings for major international acts such as Joey Beltram and Ken Ishii. Recently they headlined Breathe at System.
Guaranteed to make you shake your booty with their unique blend of genres!

Sourfly:

With over 12 years of experience creating electronic music, Toronto's Sourfly is becoming a household name. Kids today want their Playstations, Pokemon and they will demand their Sourfly. What is all the hype about? Take drum'n bass, techno, electro, breakbeat, hip hop, old skool, new skool and video game music and throw it all in a blender...you have Sourfly. Armed with 2 pc's instead of turntables and more beats than a cow's got teats, Sourfly's live show is sure to impress any electronica music fan!

Greg Gow:

Currently operating the Restructured techno label (www.restructured.net), Toronto DJ/producer Greg Gow has just done a remix for Two Wars and released an EP under his Heinze Hoffman alias for the Zen label. Based out of Toronto, Greg's deep techhouse sound has evolved gradually but progressively. After completing his undergraduate degree, Greg began spinning garage in 1992. Rave influenced Greg to develop his sound between 1995-1998 offsetting his garage background. His influences include Laurent Garnier, Rob Hood, Ritchie Hawtin and Detor.

He has been a resident on York's CHRY's 105.5fm radio show in Toronto "The Rhythm Method", L'Univers de Tempo with CHUO in Ottawa. Greg has also had internet based radio shows on 1groove called United Techno Society & Bit Stream on techno.ca. Greg has productions under the name Restructured. The track 'Revival' made with Mike Goodwin was relleased in 1999 on Tresor's Demo Tracks compilation. He is currently focused on running his own label called Restructured Recordings. He recently played alongside Derrick Carter last December at Life.

This looks like a party to hit, so many good reasons to attend:

@m's b-day
Dukes set - haven't seen them spin since Sept.
Sourfly - One Love fest last summer still makes me smile
Greg Gow - has been too long since I've had the pleasure
1st time to check out Tekkid & Curt Martin

Jim Masters looking for new music...

JIM MASTERS, PO BOX 415 CAMBRIDGE, CB3 9RW, UK

Dear all, I am currently preparing for a new mix CD for Florida 135 in
spain. Florida is one of spain's biggest clubs and we are envisaging this
being a high profile album with a large marketing budget and accordingly
high sales. It is also likely to gain release in portugal and possibly the
UK around april.

Basically i'm looking for new music, i will be mixing two CD's, one
house/deep and one techno/electro. and would love to hear some new material
to possibly use on the mix. As a lot of you know i'm into a wide variety of
music ranging from jazz thru, breaks, drum 'n' bass, house, techno, electro
and electronica so don't be shy about sending things you think I may not
like - i'll never know if I never hear it!!

If i can't use it on this album then there are 3 more planned mix CD'S this
year (the others being in the UK, far east and the US.) plus i'm are
setting up the 'OPEN' label again as well as launching the BASE label and
subsidiaries ' No Signal' & 'I, Robot' so i'll always be looking for new
material for the labels and to test out at my residencies at BASE and the
End in the UK and various residencies and guest spots globally.

About 95% of my sets I now perform with 'Final Scratch' and i'll probably
be mixing the album with it so if there's new material you don't have to
wait for vinyl to be pressed, CD-R's are great as I can rip them into the
'final scratch' and play them on vinyl anyway. for more info check
www.finalscratch.com

Any agents, management co.s, pr/promotion co.s if you could forward this on
to any relevant artists, labels etc. I would be most grateful

all music - Vinyl, CD's, Mp3's should be sent to my new mailing address:-
JIM MASTERS, PO BOX 415 CAMBRIDGE, CB3 9RW, UK

and if I get tons of new toons i'll be so happy and probably have a launch
party at BASE with lots of free drink, probably the infamous punch, i'll
invite far too many people (all of you), roadblock charing cross road i,
get drunk, get arrested and probably spend the rest of the year in jail!!!

Thanks for everyone's help

Jim Masters
