The BEST keyboard + mouse

yeah i'm not constantly using the mouse for games so that would be why! :)

as for the keyboard feel - i rate it as the best i've ever owned. i had mine since it came out about 6 months ago and my roomate just bought one last week. they both feel the same and mine deosn't seem to have worn out at all. try it at the store before you buy or get it from a store that will allow a return if you don't like it - they're $99 from a lot of places now.

also, the main difference i notice is that the connection doesn't drop anymore. it used to be that if my cell phone rang there would be a lag while the keyboard tried to set back up to the base but that hasn't happened since i got the new one.

I'm still looking for a quiet-ass keyboard.. if anyone has suggestions to one that doesn't keep people up at night.. i'm all ears.

The roll-up ones are ruled out.. I don't know how anyone can type on those.

It uses the scissor key mechanism similar to that of laptop keyboards, so probably the quietest/fastest mechanism used in keyboards.

it has arrow keys, they're in the bottom right hand corner of the main key section , in a normal cross configuration

I didn't buy this keyboard for looks , clownboat!

it plays faster than other keyboards because of the tiny key travel

Which makes me ask another question.

Should I be plugging in my keyboard/mice via USB or the PS/2 ports?

logitech's mx series mice are designed to work on usb, and according to their tech support, their full precision only comes out when connected via usb

so the old thing about ps/2 having a higher refresh rate and thus being better does not apply

I have to say that the Microsoft wireless desktop pro suite is incredible! and finally all features and buttons are fully programmable in OS X :D
