the anti-bootleg thread

well... this thread isn't really against bootlegs however, I was just wondering as I sit in the lab... what songs - house, r & b, hip hop, jazz etc... would you rather NOT see/hear be bootlegged?

I am not asking for any specific reason as I'm gonna do bootlegs if they song hot in the studio regardless of the genre etc... so I'm not asking for market research.

have some bacon ---> baconpan and some cheese ---> ch33se

  • anything already referred to as "classic <genre>"
  • mariah carey (for the love of god)
  • seasonal music (Thriller, Christmas in Hollis, Felice Navidad, etc)
  • hip-hop music that even white preteens think is lame (nelly)
  • music with vocals by anyone under 21, unless being used for irony

very twangariffic. people tend to lose their feces to that one.

you know tho, on the general tip, i'd say never, ever, remix sade.
i don't know who in their right mind would do such a thing.
no one i know, that's for sure.

Yeah but in all fairness it's the first one Pink Floyd has given permission to.
