techno peeps, I need some assistance

I am unfortunately without 1200's, and it doesn't look like I'll have the cash to buy some anytime soon. But my tables now are shit. Well, all of my gear is very basic.

I need to record a mix that I'm satisfied with and can't do that at home. What are my options??

i use to work for a soudcrew, so i get pretty good deals. there out way in the east end though.

call l&m, also try sunshine sound (eglingtion w). i also think that dj depot has a location on queen at bathurst.

should be more than 50 - 75 bucks for 2 12's and a mixer (depending on model) for a couple of day during the week (w/e's are a different matter. it's been a long time since i had to rent equip though, so call to be sure.

if you have the amp and speakers, a mixer and tables wouldn't be too much to rent for a week or so....


or you could be like me, and just use other peeps turntables until you get your own (10 years later)
