tech question: reformatting an ipod MAC to PC

I want to change my ipoo's operating system from MAC to PC. I have all my music backed up elsewhere to reload. Can it be done?

Alex, if you're using an iPod on PC, do yourself a BIG favour and get EphPod as your interface software. Very streamlined, very easy to use, no bloat like iTunes. I swear by it on my PC.

If you download iTunes you can use your iPod on either OS, provided you have the latest firmware. You can download it from apple.ca.
