Okay going to suck it up and get my first Tattoo for my birthday.
I'm going to get my mothers maiden name with the date of my
Opa's (Grandfather) dates of birth and death it will be fifty years next week.

Any Ideas on where to go what to ask or look for???
Do i need to schedual an appointment or can I just go?
These are things I would like answered before I go.

There are a few threads on Tribe. Search for them.

I'm going to WayCoolUptown to see Jen - I've seen some of the stuff she's done for friends and its great.

That's a pretty simple design, so it shouldn't be too hard to ink.

That is one of the more "unusual" tatoo wishes that I have heard of. Mind expanding on your reasons? I take it you likely have not met your grandfather (assuming you are average triber age), so I was wondering if it meant something to you beyond the obvious?

Well My last name is my Fathers which is Fox. A very cool name in itself. However My Mom raised me on her own and taught me my values and helped guided me through life's lesson. Although my mom was only 6 when her Dad died (she really only came to terms with this the last couple of years) he still played a hugh part on who she is today and there by playing a big part in whom I am today. Because both my Brother and I have our Fathers last name I always found it rather sad that My Mothers name would not be carried on. And since I feeling like I have (yes this may seem corny to some) a bond with my Opa sometimes almost like I can feel him around me in times of need. that with my birthday on saturday and the upcoming marking of his death reaching 50 years next week that I would pay tribute to a man who has touched and guided my life even after death.

Hope that make a little more sense to you Ian ;)
