Plot Outline: Rebel NASCAR driver Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) faces stiff competition in the form of his new teammate, Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen). Bobby partners with his buddy Cal (john C. Reilly), to form Thunder and Lightning, the most feared duo in the game.

*thought it might be appropriate to start this thread on the same day as the DAYTONA 500.

a comedy about nascar!!...what took so long?
and Ferrel seems a good choice for the main character.
ALI G as the bad guy seems apropriate too.

I saw the preview for this in front of Final Destination3 - looked pretty funny (not as good as The Hills Have Eyes though! that was a fucked up preview!)

There was Ricky Bobby stuff everywhere when i was in Charlotte watching the Nascar race.

I think this is coming out Labour Day weekend.
