Wow. This episode was full of the stupid. But it was very entertaining stupid, culminating in a wild Tribal Council that saw moves and counter-moves, but it all came down to one ridiculous play by a terrible, terrible player.

We begin the episode with the Brains+ tribe returning to camp after eliminating Alexis. They’re discussing how Alexis was crying, and then pivoting to how they are still in control. They’re hoping for a merge and make plans to stick together. Great, episode over, right? Then, we get Kass and Sarah talking, where Kass tells Sarah that she’s worried about her or Jeremiah flipping. WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS, KASS? She did the same thing to J’Tia with negative results, but Kass just can’t help herself. Sarah interviews that she doesn’t like being called a liar and that the surest way to drive her out of the alliance is to accuse her of disloyalty. So, you react to being called disloyal, by … being disloyal? Ok. Sarah reiterates to Kass that she’s with them, and that she thinks the likeliest thing that will break them up is a lack of trust. Kass is shocked that someone is upset that she’s accusing them. Even though this is now the second time it’s happened. Oh well, they’re all good, yay!

And, merge. Tony’s tribe moves to the other camp, with Tony and LJ being sure to gather their idols. Everybody exchanges pleasantries and there’s food and alcohol. There’s also a message that there’s a new idol at camp with ‘special powers’. Hmmm. No idea what that could mean. Maybe you can’t use it for yourself but have to use it on someone else? Tony interviews that the only way to find out the powers is to be the one who finds it. Tony also notes that unless they get Sarah to flip, his tribe is in deep trouble. Tony talks to Sarah and promises her the world (specifically final 4) if she rejoins them. Sarah is non-committal and notably refuses to swear on her badge that she’s with Tony. Bad, bad move. Sarah is thrilled to be “in control”. She sees herself as the one in the middle between two tribes of 5. She does not realize that is a terrible place to be. Yes, you have some power at this specific moment, but you’re making yourself the 6th person on both sides. Control now does not mean control three days from now.

Kass, Jeremiah and Sarah discuss the next vote. Jeremiah and Kass want to target Trish or Jefra, because they’re pretty sure LJ has an idol. Sarah thinks this is boneheaded, she wants to target Tony or LJ as the strongest guys, and she’s convinced they don’t have idols. Based on nothing, mind you. It’s weird, you get some people who are just convinced that their opponents don’t have the immunity idols. It’s like their world-view won’t accept it. Of course, they both have idols, so this is very, very dumb of Sarah. Then she starts insisting that she won’t vote for Trish, because she thinks it’s the wrong choice. This gets Kass going, who is now convinced Sarah is playing for herself.

The next morning, Sarah makes a comment to Kass and Tasha about how people just want her vote, which sets Kass off and they start arguing, which Trish notices and loves. Tasha takes Kass and Sarah aside, and starts playing peacemaker, trying to mollify Sarah. Tasha says she can see both sides and is doing a good job of calming Sarah down. Kass, though? She sees this as a betrayal by Tasha. Tasha should have sided with Kass, and now Kass believes Tasha’s against her too. Oh my god, she’s terrible. Kass completely fails to see that Tasha isn’t playing up to her because Tasha thinks the final three will be Tasha, Spencer and Kass. You mollify Sarah because you need her for the next vote, and then she’s expendable. But Kass says nothing to her alliance, just continues to stew.

Individual immunity involves balancing on a triangular platform in the ocean, the first two stages are irrelevant as everyone makes it to the final stage where you balance on the narrow top of the platform. And everyone is quickly out except for Tony and Woo, with the martial arts instructor Woo as the winner. Now Sarah insists she’s the one to make the decision of who’s going home, and she’s adamant it’s LJ or Tony. The others want Jefra, because of the idol concerns, and Sarah insists that Tony especially doesn’t have an idol, 100%. Tony makes a last play to Sarah to join their side, but Sarah refuses to commit, saying she’ll decide at tribal. STUPID!!! Tony, rightfully, considers Sarah dead to them at that point. Trish therefore makes a play at Kass, asking who Kass would like to get rid of (Sarah, obviously, which Trish knew), and that they’ll go along with that, no problem. Now Kass is claiming she has all the power now, and this is even stupider than Sarah. She’s actually contemplating flipping from a solid position with her allies since the beginning of the game to the bottom of the other tribe, just to show Sarah up. Kass says she’s sure Sarah will destroy the game, so Kass wants to destroy it first. Oh wow. So much stupidity.

And on to the tribal council. The battle lines are pretty clearly drawn and that comes out quickly. The talk turns to idols and LJ is being coy about none having been played up until now. Then, Tony takes the opportunity to admit he has an idol and that he’ll play it for the tribe. Spencer asks if he’ll show them. Tony asks why he’d do that, and Spencer says to show he’s not lying. So, Tony does. Tony’s clearly loving the turmoil this causes, but this is a terribly stupid move. Two stupid moves, actually. Saying he has one and then confirming it. By doing this before the vote, he’s giving the other side time to change things up. The original plan was to vote for Tony, so if he just played it after the vote, he wins. Spencer and his group are saying “go with the other one, the other one” and now Tony’s having to guess their second choice. We vote. Jeff makes the call for idols to be played, and Tony plays things up even more, getting Jeff to confirm the validity and strutting around. Totally loving the attention. Tony plays the idol on LJ, convinced he’s “the other one”. Jeff’s about to begin checking the votes, when LJ pipes up and plays his idol on Tony. This seems dumb too. To my mind, Tony’s probably the one person they didn’t vote for, but LJ’s probably deciding to save the person who saved him. Tony’s side is pretty happy … until Jefra’s name is read as the first vote. Now, it’s Spencer and Tasha looking smug as they’ve clearly outwitted the other side and both idols are now wasted. The votes are Sarah and Jefra, and we’re tied 5-5 with one vote left. Oh man, it’s Sarah. Everybody’s floored and Kass is quickly identified as the flipper. Spencer is furious and says “Kass – zero chance to win now” which Kass responds with “there’s a long way to go”. On the one hand Kass is right, but she’s antagonized the first 4 jury votes which means that effectively Spencer is correct. It’s completely boneheaded where Kass has apparently flipped just because she didn’t like Sarah having a temporary and mostly illusory power. Kass should have been final three, and now she’ll be lucky not to go out in 6th.

Next episode, Kass and Morgan will be taking

We begin this week’s episode, returning from Tribal Council where Spencer is less than pleased with Kass. There’s some insincere congratulations passed to the winning alliance from the losing alliance, and then we get Spencer telling Kass that he thinks her flipping ‘was a bad move.’ I agree. Kass, however, thinks that she got out who she wanted and both idols were played so triple win for her. She also brags about being a free agent and having no alliance. That’s pretty nuts. Spencer eventually tells Kass to stop talking, which she doesn’t take very well. Good thing she’s not the type to hold a grudge!

The next morning, Kass wants Morgan to go get water, not by asking her but by saying to Tony that Morgan should do it, while Morgan is in earshot, then making a comment about how she lays around. Morgan then cedes any high ground by interviewing that Kass is just jealous because she doesn’t look as good as Morgan. Sigh. There are many reasons to attack Kass, and this is not the right one.

Reward challenge for a steak dinner involving obstacles, swimming, dragging, climbing and a puzzle. Spencer and his random group of people defeat Tony and his random group of people. Specifically, it comes down to LJ and Spencer smoking Woo and Kass at the puzzle. The steak dinner is courtesy of some chain that I will not name, but they manage to name over and over. The winners enjoy the meal, and Spencer discovers an idol clue in his napkin (which he almost missed for not using his napkin until the end of the meal).

Returning back from the meal, it’s raining and everyone is crowded in the shelter, but Spencer doesn’t want to wait before looking at the clue, so he takes off out the back of the shelter. Spencer gets a bit of time to read the clue and do a bit of searching, but the rain lets up and Woo is following him sneakily. Spencer had removed his pants (because the searching was wet and muddy) and placed the clue with his pants. When Woo shows up, Spencer decides to leave but forgets his pants. Woo makes to hand them to him, but sees the clue fall out, so he throws the pants at Spencer, grabs the clue and runs away. Now it’s a free for all as Woo gets all of his allies to help, so Spencer grabs his allies. With everyone looking, Spencer mainly just seems angry that this situation has fallen apart, and then he finds the idol. And he does so right in front of Kass but without her knowing. Good work.

On to the immunity challenge which involves standing slightly on tip-toes, balancing a piece of wood with your head. Kass sucks and is out in under a minute with several others right behind. Then, it goes on and on until it’s just Tasha and Spencer left after more than an hour. Spencer looks in bad shape, but manages to hold on for the win.

Back at camp, Tony’s group meet and decide on Morgan, figuring that she couldn’t have found an idol and no one would be willing to give her one. Reasonable logic. On the other side, Spencer convince his smaller group to vote for Tony, and not Kass, because Kass is the only one likely to flip again. Spencer has an exploratory talk with Kass about flipping back to their side, however this is very unlikely. A flip would only put them into a tie, so unless Spencer is willing to reveal his hidden idol, Kass flipping is a remote possibility. Kass sees this conversation as proof she made the right call in flipping, because they ‘want to forgive’. There is a HUGE difference between being willing to work with someone again (because you have no choice) and being willing to vote to give them $1 million. Kass does not seem to realize this.

On to tribal council where the bulk of the discussion revolves around Morgan and how she has skated through life on her looks and has done nothing around camp. We vote, Spencer hangs on to his idol and Morgan is voted out. Morgan talks more about how she’s pretty and Kass is just bitter because she’s old. Sigh, she sucks. But now she’s gone.

Fortunately, in next week’s preview we see Tony’s paranoia coming back to the forefront as he’s targeting Woo for elimination. So, that should fracture their alliance and we could get a wide open game.

Welcome to the Tony the Cop Can’t Keep Still Hour! We begin with the tribe returning from Tribal Council and Tony is freaking out over his name having come up in the vote. This really shouldn’t matter, but that’s not going to stop Tony. He’s immediately targeting LJ for elimination. Q. Why? A. Apparently he’s a threat. Q. Why now? A. Um, … well, because? Gotta do something.

Here’s where things get weird with Tony. See, Tony is in an alliance with LJ, and so, in Tony’s mind, he can’t just target LJ directly. He has to get LJ to “break” the alliance first. Tony begins a conversation with LJ, where Tony tells him that he thinks that Woo found the idol. Tony keeps pressing and finally LJ says “So you want to vote for Woo?”. Now, this is entirely LJ asking Tony to spell out what he wants to do, and not at all something LJ even agrees with … and it’s based on an outright lie by Tony. But now Tony is off to the races. He runs to Woo and tells him that LJ is gunning for him. Woo buys it completely and is on board with immediately targeting LJ. Does Tony really feel that having the conversation with LJ makes this ok?

On to the reward challenge where there’s various tossing and bouncing of ropes and sandbags. Blah, blah, blah, Tony, Spencer and Jeremiah win reward of going to a spa for a shower, massage and a lunch. Tony takes the opportunity to never stop talking and trying to convince the other guys that he can save them, if they vote with him. Meanwhile, LJ is talking to Jefra and Trish about Tony’s paranoia about Woo. Trish says she’ll reign in Tony, yeah, good luck with that.

Tasha wants to meet with LJ to discuss a possible plan. He agrees to listen to her, and then doesn’t show up. Ouch. On to immunity which is a memory challenge, remembering a series of colours. The first set is four colours and Trish is out on the second one. Wow. Woo is right behind on the third colour. Everybody else is ok in this round. Then, in the second round with 7 colors, it comes down to Tasha, Tony and LJ on the 7th color with all three picking differently. It turns out Tasha is right, so she wins immunity.

After the challenge, LJ is arranging a split vote between Spencer and Jeremiah in case of an idol (which Spencer does in fact have). Tony meanwhile is convincing Spencer and his group to vote for LJ. Tony then talks to Trish about LJ being sneaky. Trish says LJ says it was Tony talking about Woo, and not him. Trish asks for an explanation and Tony falls back on “I don’t know”. Trish agrees that LJ may be trouble but that now isn’t the time to turn on the alliance. Tony interviews that he may have to go along with the alliance. Hmm, patience does not seem to be in Tony’s repertoire.

On to tribal, where there’s a lot of talk about loyalty. LJ is big on it, and he’s feeling ok. Tony continues to insist he’s in construction for some reason when a bunch of people know that’s not true. Eh, hardly the worst thing Tony’s doing, even at this tribal. They vote and at first it looks like the split between Spencer and Jeremiah is going ahead, but then votes start coming in for LJ and he gets 4, then 5 votes. So, Tony and Woo both flipped, it looks like. Jefra, Kass and Trish all look unhappy. Not as unhappy as LJ, mind you. He’s out. After that we see in the preview Woo falling out of a tree, so things look precarious next week, with scrambling now the name of the game.

God I want Kass gone. I can't stand her... she keeps spewing hypocritical crap after backstabbing her original core alliance. It really annoys me.

We begin last night’s episode with the tribe returning from tribal. Jefra is clearly unhappy with the turn of events. Trish and Kass, on the other hand, barely seem perturbed. Trish, especially, still trusts Tony completely, in the face of all the evidence to the contrary. Spencer realizes that Trish is the right target to try and peel off from the remaining alliance. Tony (Mr Insanity) constructs another spy shack by the water hole and eavesdrops on Trish and Jefra. Jefra doesn’t trust Tony at all, while Trish is trying to bring her back on side.

On to the reward challenge which involves Spencer, Tasha, Jeremiah and Jefra against the other four, so it’s ideal for Spencer’s alliance. They have to paddle a boat, retrieve oars and then complete a puzzle with the oars. It comes down to the puzzle with much ‘cheating’ off the other side’s work. Ultimately, Spencer & Tasha get it right, since Kass is hung up on a wrong word. Their side gets a BBQ lunch. Which they spend convincing Jefra that she should join them. They also get letters from home, and Jefra agrees to join their side. I’m dubious since this only puts them into a 4-4 tie, and nobody flips into a tie.

Meanwhile, Tony wants to strategize about Jefra but Trish would rather look for papayas. She has Woo climb a tree and he’s violently shaking the tree to get the fruit. And then he falls. Yikes. Fortunately, he’s only sore as he landed on his @ss. Kass interviews that she’s going to stick with her new alliance, and that she doesn’t blame Tony for his move.

On to the immunity challenge which involves balancing on a beam and then balancing a ball on a platform that you’re holding by a stick. With each phase, you move to a narrower part of the beam and lower on the stick. Blah, blah, who cares. It comes down to Spencer and Tasha yet again, even outlasting Woo the ninja. And once again Tasha wins immunity.

Back at camp, Tony is racing around looking for the idol with special powers. He’s such a tool. But of course, he finds the idol. Amazingly, it can be played after the votes are read, so you’d only need to play it when you absolutely know you’re being voted out. And no-one else knows about this power so no-one knows that they need to flush it out. Blech. And Tony’s mine, and I still hate this twist. Also, Tony seems to be losing his mind as he talks about washing up over and over again.

Meanwhile Trish & Kass work on Jefra, who’s angry with Tony’s lying. Kass talks about how you don’t vote out the annoying, you vote out the threats. I’m not sure if they realize how big a threat Tony actually is. Tony shows up and says yet again that he’s with them, and they can trust him and he swears on his baby and mother and so on and so on. And it works! Sigh. Jefra tells Jeremiah that she won’t be switching sides after all. Jeremiah tells Tasha and Spencer the bad news. Oh, and also he’s a model. Um, ok. Spencer decides to share also, revealing that he has the immunity idol (or one of them anyway).

Tribal Council is immensely frustrating as Spencer tries to convince Tony’s alliance that Tony is a genuine threat. Spencer calls out Tony for breaking his promises, which Tony interrupts by insisting that Spencer name the promises that he’s broken. Dude, everybody already knows. Spencer says that if Tony gets to the end, he’s getting Spencer’s vote and Tasha backs him up as well. Woo says Tony will only get to the end with their help (ok, so?) and Trish says that their alliance cleared the air with Tony and he’s not going to pull his stunts anymore. Uh-huh, sure he won’t. Trish is an idiot.

They vote, and Spencer pulls out his idol and is deciding how to play it. Tony pulls out his idol too. Why? Spencer plays his idol for himself. Tony then says something about how inexperienced Spencer is for playing it on himself and not Jeremiah, because Tony pulled his idol out and spooked him, and what the hell? I’m a reasonably intelligent guy and what Tony said is utter gibberish. Anyway, Jeremiah got the votes, not Spencer so the idol was played for nothing.

For next week’s episode, Spencer is playing on Tony’s paranoia which seems like a pretty good strategy. But I suspect it will all be for naught.

Welcome back to another episode of the All-Tony show, where apparently even the Fates themselves are conspiring to get Tony as far as possible in the game. We begin with the tribe returning to camp, and Kass is gloating along with Tony about Spencer’s failed idol play. Kass especially keeps rubbing it in that she knew he had the idol. Spencer tries to play it off, but there’s not much he can actually say as a comeback. He interviews that he played the idol incorrectly and now it’s just him and Tasha against the world.

And now we’re right into the Survivor auction which Woo springs on the group having hidden the wallets in his shorts. Ew. The auction showed a definite split between those playing for food (Trish, Kass, Woo, Jefra) and those playing to win (Tony, Spencer and Tasha, sort of). The food is all going for very little cash, because Tony and Spencer aren’t bidding on anything at all. Finally, Jeff calls them out and they both admit they’re saving their $ for the advantage item. Tasha says, so is she. So, Jeff gets right to it and Tony shouts out $500 right off the bat. Jeff says no, that’s not how this will work. If they want to participate at $500, this will only give them a chance at the advantage. They’ll have to draw rocks for who wins. Tony and Spencer both agree, and Tasha … doesn’t. WHAT? Tasha interviews that she was hoping for a second advantage item which she could win outright. Bear in mind that they’ve never had two advantage items at one auction. A terrible decision by Tasha. So, Spencer & Tony draw rocks. White rock gets nothing, Black rock wins. Of course, Tony draws the winning black rock. Sigh. But Spencer gets to keep his white rock, so there’s that.

It turns out that the advantage isn’t for the next immunity challenge, but rather a clue to another hidden immunity idol. Ugh, here we go again. Meanwhile, Tasha is spending a lot of time with the women of the tribe and both Tasha and Spencer are planting doubts in the fertile paranoia that is Tony’s mind. Even knowing that Spencer would say anything, Tony is terrified at the idea of a female alliance. He then finds the hidden immunity idol and shows everybody in his putative alliance that he’s got it.

On to the immunity challenge where they have to dig up sacks with balls, and then navigate five balls through a table track and plant the balls in holes at the end of the table. It’s really only between Tasha and Woo, and Tasha wins yet again. That’s three in a row for her. Spencer is now scrambling for his life.

Tony talks to Woo about making another change by voting for Jefra. Woo, unsurprisingly, is willing to go along with it. He is not the brains in this twosome. Tony tells Spencer that he has to get Tasha to vote with them. Which takes about two seconds to do. Spencer and Tasha can’t believe that they may both be spared yet again. Spencer is having a look around for the idol which Tony uses as an excuse to think about not going with Spencer.

On to tribal council and Tony is surprisingly openly hinting at turning on his alliance again, calling out Jefra for not trusting him. Which Jefra cops to, given that Tony has already betrayed their alliance once. Kass comes to Jefra’s defense. There’s more talk about Spencer being in trouble, and Spencer talks about this being the last time to have the numbers to make a move, and if you end up finishing 3rd or 4th, it’s your own fault for not doing something about it now. We vote and it’s 3 votes to 2 for Spencer over Jefra. But then a 3rd vote for Jefra comes which means one has flipped, and seals her fate as the last vote is for her as well. Jefra’s outie sianara!

So, now Tony has betrayed Trish and Kass twice, and this had better be enough to demonstrate Tony’s untrustworthy nature. In next week’s preview, we indeed see Kass and Tony butting heads, with Kass arranging a vote against Tony. Which we already know absolutely can’t work, given Tony’s 2 idols, one of which he can wait until after the votes are read to play. It’s bad enough that’s the case, but not letting the other players even know that’s the case gives Tony a super-huge advantage. He’s a lock to final four at this point. So, my guess is Kass is on her way out next.

I really don't like Kass. She comes off as a super bitch, with a massive superiority complex. Calling people out for doing things she also did and acting like she is better than them all. I hope she is next.

Kass is such a retard. Guided purely by ego with concern only for every upcoming vote. It's comical how delusional she is and has no idea that she's equally as disliked as Tony. I can't wait to view the battle with Trisha.

I think if it plays out as it should then Kass got this in the bag? Spencer goes out next if he doesn't win immunity. After that it would be in Kass, Woo, and Trish's best interest to get Tony out because they have no chance against him. Out of the three Kass will win it because the other two haven't made any big moves yet.

edit: I thought next tribal is the last chance Tony can use his idols?

Ya it is. So obviously he's going final four. The thing is Kass is actually so delusional she thinks she would win against Tony. Cause she's such a fucking idiot. She has a face you just want to punch.

Spencer beats everyone if he can make it to the final 3, otherwise it's between Tony & Woo. IMO Tony is the better player since Woo has just been along for the ride, but i also think Woo hasn't upset anyone and seems to be a genuinely nice guy (in a clueless kind of way).
