Stupid ass retarded dentists

So I had some crown work done on one of my teeth. It fucking kills, let me tell you... the tooth pain is the worst.

Anyhow, I ended up paying for this crown, because my plan only covers half of it, so I spent about $500 on this work. I had to go back numerous times, because it still hurt like hell and he kept saying it's because it's not healed yet.

Well, it's been 6 months since the work, and I can't even close my mouth properly, it fucking kills.

What can I do? Will he look at my tooth free of charge?
Honestly, I don't want to go back to him, because he didn't seem like he knew what he was doing... I want to change the dentists, but does anyone know if I will have to pay if he does work on this tooth?

Does anybody know of GOOD dentists downtown Toronto?

I am so much fucking pain, I just want to shoot myself.

Having this problem too.

Just had surgery done, and my mouth still fucking kills.

I might have to go back this week if it doesn't heal properly.

Well, the dentist will tell you to wait for a month or two, because the area around it is sore and it will hurt.
Funny enough, I FUCKING WAITED 6 MONTHS AND NO IMPROVEMENT.

What kind of work did you have done?

i've had massive amounts of painful dentistry myself.

I didn't go for 6years and i hate flossing, (but i still brush) and they cleaned out my gums. I was in pain for about 4 days.

I'm fortunate to not need a crown. However, i might have to get an incisor replaced in the future.

Well I got a routine little cavity filled about a month? ago

a couple days after that it fucking KILLED, so I called him and told him that this wasn't usual for a cavity filling

He said wait it out...

The pain didn't go away, and a couple weeks later, the gum started to puff up and the tooth rotted.

He said he didn't do it, but I don't believe him.

Yeah, he didn't do it my ass! They are so fucking lazy and don't take 2-3 minutes out of their time to check to make sure that there isn't a problem in there if you tell them that it hurts.
I would totally suggest to change your dentist too, but it's up to you.

I floss every day, 2 times a day... morning and night. This tooth was a complication from teenager years.

my dad went through this with a dentist.. he had a root canal done and a year later had to have a second one done on the same tooth (by a different dentist) cause he was in excruciating pain... (the dentist actually prescribed him some drug thats apparantly close to heroin in mellowing its strength.. or so he said)...

anyways.. my dad sent a letter to the other dentist.. beacuse the other guy hadn't completely removed the root... hence the problem.

the dentist sent a cheque back for what was paid for the work.

I *heart* my dentist, and he's hot.

but shit man, this is horrible. I really hope you get this sorted out. It sounds painful!

What a coincedence! My mouth kills me too from work done by my dentist! I got some of my teeth 'bonded' or 'filled' (but I have no cavities), and now I wake up in the middle of the night in EXTREME pain!!!! It's like a numbing jaw cramp or something....I've never had this before the proceedure- now I REGRET having HIM CONVENICE ME TO HAVE the work done in the first place!

Dentists....you can't trust them!

Hmm, I really like the idea of writing back to this idiot and asking him for a refund.

I have 3 references already and I am going to call them today.
Thanks so much guys, I really appreciate it... my tooth is killing me, I would starve myself so I don't try and chew and touch my tooth...
The only cure I have found is that if I smoke weed, I don't feel the tooth anymore. LOL
Maybe I should become a chronic, eh?

I would have no problems with the owners, the only problem I will have is that I will start dancing like an idiot in the office.

i got my wisdom teeth out last year. the left half of my tongue is still numb.

stupid dentists.

LOL sometimes I wish that would work, although having people with already amasing dentists works better. :)

I just made an appointment for next month (and I get a movie pass because I reffered two people).
