How was she? She was supposed to be on EC but her managers said she was wiped out from touring.

Was she good later on? I saw some people after that said she was really amazing, and some who thought she killed the mixes.

The girl played tunes...

Such a rare occurence. Here's an excerpt from the conversion en route to the hotel:

Storm: "How long am I playing for?"

Syrous: "hour and a half"

Storm: "Can I play for 2 hours?"

Syrous: "Sure."

Storm: "can I play for 3 hours?"

Syrous: (shocked) "uh... OK..."

She played a blinding 3 hour set and didn't let up for a minute. Tune, after tune, after tune.

Screw the breaks, I spent my night on the jungle floor.

It was a good night.

Bastard! I missed this and it pissed me off so much...Storm rocks..

This girl has got some energy in her. After hearing Mystical and Marcus back to back i was a bit worried that Storm would come on and totally suck. Just before i go on i have to say our locals know how to hold it down and that back to back set got everyone going. But now to conmtinue the one like Storm came on after the locals stellar set and just continued to tear the place down track after track. Mixing was good and the set just did not stop and i wish i really didn't. All i must stress is that i hope Syrous dubbed that set, even though it was three hours they should make a special edition for this set cause it was amazing.

It feels good to get out to a jungle party... and this all a prequel to Feburary ...Drum and Bass month... oh this party has got me hyped for Sound Clash and Bittersweet.

This was not a night to be missed.

And Amy it is always a pleasure to chill with you and that three hour talk about every tangent that crossed our minds was relieving i don't think i have sat down with someone in a long time and been able to have a decent conversation.

It was rammed (on the D&B floor). There were points at the bar where I couldn't move. It was great.

And, the first set was started by Premis, and ended with a back to back set with Premis and i.n.s.

Can't wait for next week when the boys from the Beaches kick some Brampton Ass!

Mystical and Marcus barely need recognition because I do not think there is much doubt that they will be amazing every time you see their name on a flyer. So, the maintained their status quo.

I have listened to the production of Storm for years and decided that this would be the occaision for my first night out in Toronto in a month. I think I picked a winner. She was wicked. Across the dnb map in a very good way. Having had a long day, I sort of wanted to leave during her set. Whenever that thought hit me, she would drop another bomb.

Musically amazing all night.

Great night. A good guage of how good a dj is can be found by checking local dj response. Marcus mentioned he needed to dance. i.n.s. was bopping half that night and yelling his little whatever he yells when he is excited. When djs revert to punters it is generally a good sign of good tunes.
