The latest version is 5.7 but when you down load it it's 5.62, huh?

Maybe a mislabelled link or file. When I installed it, it says 5.71 as the version number. *shrugs*

All you need are the signatures file really, if you have older versions installed I think

Can confirm that. I just downloaded a signature update. Found 132 once I update the signature file and scanned.

I nearly had a heart attack when I first ran the new version.

231 components found on my laptop and close to 60 on my desktop.

I despise sneaky spyware that takes advantage of the fact that most people don't bother to read/don't really understand standard form click through contracts, and try to be vigilant about keeping it off my machines. I feel like such a stupid luser now. . . next thing you know I'm going to be opening email attachments called HDDerasingworm.exe thinking it's pictures of my grandparent's latest trip to Florida.

It's really not your fault, most spyware programs now don't give you the option of not installing themselves and can piggy back themselves through a variety of ways...

I run absolutely nothing with spyware in it and still it found 6 things ...
