This is going to be one of the nights of the year, I think.

How can you go wrong with three djs of this calibre? Ian, Greg and Steve will funk you up.

    The Steve Bug Experience.

I'm really looking forward to giving it a fucking hard dance on Saturday.

Harvest was good, but I did a lot of walking and talking too. Saturday is about the beats.

yeah... for some reason I could only 'listen' to music at harvest... I was unable to dance.

I agree... saturday is about mashing up the dancefloor.

gotta love those long, pill-less.. 12 hour dance parties where the weed keeps me alive.

agreed (re: dancing at bug, BBB)

all the locals killed the barn on saturday, but they have most of the records that the rest of us can get at record stores or online(maybe kenny gets some nice promos...)

BUT steve bug will have some new, new, neeeeeewwwww music that will funk me up all over again.

promos, whitelabels, cdr's (?), fresh out the shrink wrap german minimal funk

    I'm totally a loser.

What should I expect if I come.. Hard? Funky? Minimal? Pounding?

    And what's the venue like...

do NOT expect to hear fast bangin' techno. both times i've seen him, he dropped some sick deep tech house... warped, trippy, punchy, perky, hypnotic... i'm running out of adjectives. :D

Ah, no hard banging knock me on my ass techno? :D

I can still do that... ;)
Techno & House, the two genres... simple as that!

steve bug is not bringing any vinyl to his show, strictly FINAL SCRATCH for this tour. he has stocked approx 1000 songs in his laptop. he has also said he will not be playing any of his own productions.

he said to expect the following on this tour musically speaking -

a mix of classic house and older detroit style techno melodies, all remixed live with newer hard, minimal techno/tech house beats.

    enjoy boys and girls!

at least that's what he said in a phone interview a friend of mine did for a quebec city alternative weekly, as he is playing here this thursday night (for the low, LOW cover of $3! vive le quebec!)

    final scratch eh?

thanks for the tip ethnik, let's hope some other interviews are happening for our toronto weeklies :D

if he plays what he says he is going to...i think i will pull a fatty p.- and freak the fuck out :D

I'm pretty sure I have a cold. I'm going to rest up big time... cuz now I'm really interested in catching this. Even if I'm not well enough to dance... at least I'll be able to hear it... and that's what matters most.

I appreciate all that the techno promoters have been doing as of late... it seems like you're all looking to hit us with such diversity. It's FANTASTIC!
