are you looking for a list of 'old stand-bys', or obscure underground stuff?

as far as the classics go:

    bad religion
    bad brains
    black flag
    dead kennedys
    the clash
    the ramones
    the damned
    agnostic front
    the cramps
    minor threat

that's what comes immediately to mind... i don't listen to much newer punk music, although i have seen rancid a couple of times, and the reverend horton heat.

For newer punk ... pick up a Fat Wreck Chords sampler
They're usually under $10 and have a lot of good bands that you can check out
They're called Fat Music ... I think there's about 7 of them out there now
Or pick up one of Epitaph's Punk-O-Rama's ... same deal ... a full album for under $10 ... and they usually have about 20 or some tracks from different bands ... just so you can get a feeling of what they have to offer
