songs that should be remixed

In the Air Tonight should be covered by Massive Attack

I'm still shocked that Puff Daddy hasn't sampled Human League's Fascination for a song as of yet.

From the Ministry of 80's songs? Or does anything go?

I did a cheese-ass mix of that a few years ago...

I'll play it for you one day... or maybe I should re-re-mix it first, so you don't barf.

i think, if done right, this would make the perfect comedown track.

phil did one remix of it with amazing tribal drum work that pans from speaker to speaker. I have the 12" around here somewhere

i hate the sound of phil colin's voice
it makes me want to tear my arm off and beat every surrounding person with it to a bloody pulp.

as for songs that shoudl be remixed

bjork - the modern things

i was greatly dissapointed that from post, this song was not transformed into something new, seeing as how just about every other song on post was remixed (cant remember if any remixes exist for "it's oh so quiet" )

i would also like remixes of
delerium - wisdom
delerium - incantation
cranberries - linger
belle & sebastian - sleep the clock around
the orb - s.a.l.t.
underworld - juanita/kiteless/to dream of love
belle & sebastian - string bean jane
lucious jackson - naked eye

I must admit that as a general rule I think nothing should be remixed. Almost all remix's come out butchered to say the least...but in this case I must say it could be done.... if it could be done well I dunno!?!

rebel yell

cheesy i know but i missed it them first times around.

as i watch people dance to the billie jean remix i wonder if they really aren't just reliving their fantasies of doing the moonwalk to the original

respect

i think an electro re-working of parliament funkadelic's flashlight would be interesting, gotta dig the synth in the background of that track..

i'm also shocked that Kyrie has never been re-mixed in euro-dance or trance styles (i hated the original and i hate euro and trance, but this song is just WAITING to be re-done)

peace

I know that OTIS did a remix of 'Drowning' by Phil Collins, it is drum and bass. VERY excellent.
