like it's pretty cool.. and it's for Mac and Winders

Apple has even done some advertising for i-tunes on download.com .. go try and dowload any p2p program and they've target marketet the dowloaders of those apps.

I hear it's coming to canada.. $0.99 per song is actually a good deal.. if ya ask me!

and "New Music tuesdays" start at MIDNIGHT.. not at 9 or 10 am when the stores open.... nice!!

It's a pretty cool program, easy to use even though there are better programs out there. I've been using for about a month now. I like it much better than using WinAmp to play mp3's.

You can automatically set the volumes to match equally in playback.

Only thing I don't like about it is the CD playback. I find it quite choppy. And when importing CD's, I don't think they don't become mp3 files, some other file ext. I forget what it was, but they can only be played thru iTunes, not Winamp.

you can set in your preferences what you'd like the files to be encoded as. i think the default is aac which is higher quality than mp3.

Considering the program was meant to be an interface to use the ipod it would make sense, but you can in fact change your setting to make the files in mp3 format of whatever bitrate you want. I like that...320kbps for everything.

I like it way better than winamp. So many nice little features, and you can organize everything so nice and easily...
