Yeah. these boys tore it up...solid tuneage like Spaced Invaderz, Need U, tell Me, BoDYROCK, Nine, and so on.

I've been going to Lush the past 2 weeks and i'm really enjoying it... $2.25 drinks before 12...so, i pure line up mad drinks and i'm niCe and wrecked within the hour...2 hours of hard dancing later, then i grab a Joe Baxi (that means taxi) and i'm home.

Oh yeah, Slip n Slide ripped it up...Spinz is here in 2 weeks, D-Region and his boys are here next week.

Also, Max Graham and KENNY Glasgow within the next 2 weeks at Core FX Thursdays.

Also, had a mad time at Funk Wednesdays at Call the Office...London is pretty sound.

peace
Chris

Hello there! I swear I thought you lived in TO, are you here for school? Anyways, I was upstairs at Mercury Lounge on Fri. night, and I was very surprised to see that many people out for jungle night (school's in!). So I can't wait for Spinz either! The Core Fx is looking better than ever, it's got more dance space along with a bigger lounge area. Rise! thursdays at the Core are back! Damn that place called school! Hopefully I'll run into you sometime soon.

peace,
Olga

P.S.- Hi Jamie! How goes it?

We have adjusted quite well here. Korea is certainly not the greatest place on the face of the earth, but hey what can you do? The main problem so far is that I find it to be the rudest culture I have ever encountered... they have no problems throwing each other aside to get into the elevator, the language does not even translate the phrase "excuse me" it is kinda bizarre. One thing I can tell you for certain is that I have never been so thankful for Canada in my entire life, which is as important of lesson as any. The place is nice but I went to Japan the other day and would certainly recomend it over Korea. No regrets though, I will be looking foreward to coming back to Canada

I hope you are both well.

It means excuse me in Korean. Yes, they are pretty rude, they do push and shove to get where they are going, but one thing that I learned after living there for four years is that you won't fully appreciate it until after you have left.

Try to see the kindness and generosity that IS there, as strangers will invite you to join them for drinks and food.

Don't just be an ignorant North American who tells tall tales like there is no translation to Excuse Me when if you took the time to learn their language and their culture, you would avoid being so ignorant.

Have a cup of soju for me and take a look around, relax and enjoy it.

I'm great Jamie, thanks for asking. I just started Western and it's a BIG change, but I like it. I havn't met any new party people yet though, I guess I'll have to give it some time. It's too bad that you don't like it over there very much, but it sounds like you're making the best of it. How's your teaching job? Do you at least enjoy that part? I don't know when or if you'll be able to post pictures, but...uh...hint hint? Anyways, have a good day *virtual hug*.

peace,
Olga

Just to re-iterate... I like it just fine here. There are many wonderful things in Korea just as Skip said. There are very specific thigs here that are discouraging, but for the most part it is good.

I'm definately looking forward to playing at LUSH!! I too went to Western, so going to London feels a bit like going home for me.

Be very thankful of those Jungle nights you now have, 'cause when i was there, there was nothing even close!!

Also look out for the Lexx & D-Region from Furious Records this weekend...they surely will not disappoint.

I decided to hit up lush last week with my buddy Dirty P (who runs the fridays at lush) cuz there was nothin really going on in toronto. I was pleasantly surprised. Packed venue, and some kick ass rennovations to boot. I'll definitely be making trips back to the land I used to call home.

Peace,

-Angus

Hey Cynthia. I am in Seoul for a year. I have been here for 3 weeks now. I am teaching English. What is funny is the night Ruckus and Greg played at Turbo I was in the stairwell, and you were outside. I thought you were coming in and was going to say hey... but sadly you didn't and I am now here. I hope all is well. As for DJ Spinz... I didn't know you were a Western boy. I was there from 96-00.
Cheers
Jamie
