We went last year and everybody did it. It's pretty cool, others like the rush of freefaling, others like the "floating" in the air.

It's definitely an awesome experience.

I'm in the process of organizing a sky diving trip for 10 friends of mine for late spring/summer I can't wait. I've been wanting to go forever. Sky diving appeals so much more to me than bungee jumping or any of that other crap.

I actually have been thinking about the ear pressure thing.

I also have problems with my ears in regards to pressure changes (from years and years of ear infections). Liftoff in planes, and going into deeper water causes definite discomfort.

I can't seem to find any info on this being a problem - anyone ever heard anything about this? I don't want to blow my ears out...

skydiving is definitely on my list of things to do.

i can only imagine what it would be like to be free falling and to have an amazing view of the world around you. it would definitely be an adrenaline rush.

Base jumping isn't illegal, it's just illegal to do it off buildings. I know dudes who did it all the time in BC off cliffs and what not, nothing illegal about it!
