Skimboarding

Summer is upon us and beach weather is just around the corner.
I was thinking about picking up a skimboard for this summer....been checking out boards made by 4 skims and victoria boards....Just wondering if anyone on has any suggestions or tips on board selection.

Buy a real surfboard.

I use to do this all the time when I was a young lad. Then I got old and realized how dumb it was. You run your ass off to go about 20 feet max.

or you push your skateboard, or you swim out through the waves, or you walk your snowboard up the hill... what's your point?
