hey all...

i'm looking for one of those new school hunter's hats (the only frame of reference i have is that snow - your favorite rapper and mine - wears them) with the fur-ish trim and the long earflaps.

or like in fargo.

does anyone know where i can find them? does triple five soul make some? or timbaland? or army surplus stores?

Sears had them the last time I was there.
Kensington had them.
And while you're in Kensington, there are numerous army surplus stores in that area.

Daddyiwantchocolate got a really nice one at Zara on Bloor for pretty cheap a little while ago. I'd try there (hopefully they aren't sold out)

Seeing as how this is a shopping help thread I'd like to send
out this question to Tribe:

Besides the usual spots along Queen St. W, where in the GTA
can I find retailers that carry Spiewak?

google the name of the band. Most band websites have merch links. Or google "the name of the band and merch or tee". It takes dilligence!

vox, the one I got @ zara was for guys. and it was at the bloor store.

IT KICKS ASS! Black weatherproof type material with black fur.

Though synthetic, it beats paying 200 bones for a real fur/leather one (it was $29).

JAR, yes I'm looking for a jacket...more specifically the Nicholson
in black.

So far I've only seen it at Decibel but to my surprise the small did
not fit me.

yeah, I've had a hard time finding Spiewak jackets in T.O. I bought the one I have now in NYC. The sell them all over the place there, and you can usually find really good deals down on Broadway.

but you want places in Toronto, not NYC.
