scalper tickets

i've never bought tickets from a scalper before but i intent to tonite....does anyone know how much of an increase in price scalpers normally charge from the regular price, cuz i'll only have $12 more than the regular price after i get gas and stuff.....just wanna know if it's worth the trip...

you'll probably have to wait until the game starts to buy your ticket... scalpers drop their prices quite a bit after the start time...

Uh...what's the show? Sometimes with the bigger ones scalpers have too many tickets and try to get rid of them for -less- than regular cost. But it's hard to predict, especially if you don't say what you're trying to see.

Hmm...for a club show, I'd say a $10-$20 "surcharge." You could always try after the show starts, as well. But you never know, sometimes you can talk them into less, especially if you tell them that's all the money you have. They might take pity on you. :) As long as it's not a "hot" band, like the Strokes or something, I doubt you'll pay a lot more.

Usually waiting till the show starts works the best
But for smaller concerts sometimes you won't be able to get tickets once the show starts
I went to se NOFX at the Warehouse like 5 years ago
And one of my friends didn't have a ticket ... she waited until the show started to buy hers ... but couldn't find one cause all the scalpers were sold out

Totally. Seeing some fucking 40 year old fat guy who's never heard of AFI, with two tickets to the concert of the summer for me, jacking the price up 3 times the face value, made me want to puke.

I got a good deal at a bills game. 10th row 50 yard line, for $15 US

Mind you they were playing the Seahawks, and the game wasn't sold out. But I did get to see the entire game, kick off et al. Bought 5 minutes before game time.

It was also Jim Kelly tribute day.
