In about two weeks I get to pick up a new car too!

A 98 Volkswagon Jetta in deep green with beige leather interior.

It's a four-door V6 with 75,000 kms on it.

And I'm getting it for $9,500.

A total steal!

:D

Why? When people think you're a cop, they slow down around you and they're less likely to run into you. :D

Malibu's aren't used as cop cars... i thought it was just Impala's they use in regards to the Chevy brand.

They slam on their brakes and then the guy behind them slams on their brakes. This continues on down the line and will actually interupt the flow of traffic.

White Caprices are the devil for sprouting this unecessary activity.

Cheers ... Ian :)

It's my father in law's car and he's a really nice guy so I think I will forgo the obligatory GTA headkicking that usually accompanies the acquisition of an automobile...

This time.

I drove a rented Malibu up a mountain cliff road in Alberta with no snow tires in the middle of winter. Didn't die! A+ to the Malibu!

What are you like, 50 years old?

It's a car that's safe, he's getting it at a good price with somewhat low mileage and it's a good sized car.

Functional and more useful than any two-door speed demon coupe.

50 year olds...you're a 50 yearold.
