i heard a cd called "dance club 2003" or something......it was a ched ball disc.

anyway.

the first song was really "electro-ish" and the guy kept saying something to do with "satisfaction"



what song is this?


* ( the disc had a mauro piccotto song on it with the lyrics "m-a-u-r-o-p-i-c-o-t-t-o-d-j-d-j").......maybe that will help someone knowing what disc i'm talking about and in turn, help in naming the tune i'm looking for.

Tiga and Mateo Murphy.... as far as i know it was a bootleg copy- well i know Curt has it and its just Black, its an old 80's song...


been out for a couple years now i think...


limited info, sorry thats all i know bout it..

but play it without the vocals and after the crunchy electro line comes in and you have a decent tune. That's what I got it for.

minus the vocals i really like the song...if it's not played too often. I think it would get old quick if it wasn't played sparingly.

the benny benassi one is pretty cheesy, but catchy as hell as well.
i considered buying it, but it was just too goofy for me. incidentally, i got the guy's full album in the mail the other day, and every single song has the same speak-and-spell style female robot vocals, the same Mr Oizo bass synth sound, and similar drum sounds.

i also remember a bootleg that mashed up the riff from the rolling stone's version with the benassi version. it was too cheesy too.

There have been over 15 mashups of Benny Benassi's Satisfaction with other tunes, all of them suck turds, especially the one with Planet Rock ..

there's two mixes of planet rock on that white...

one is the shitty oakenfold remix (ya i said it, i own an oakenfold by default, wanna diss me, go ahead wigger)

and the other one is the planet rock/satisfaction mashup....which does kinda suck, but I figure when I get my gig at club 108 i can drop it and watch dem bizitches go crayzay.

Working in the Club District I've heard WAY to much of that song... but I still kinda like it.

I have a non vocal version- and a version that is "Satisfaction vrs Intergalatic".. its one of those "PARTY DUBS!" sorta thing- but I really dig it. Works well with a nice techno remix of Mista Dobalina by Del the Funky Homosapien... I wish I knew who did the remix tho because its a killer production.

I got to say though that the dance floor eats up that Satisfaction song. I opened with it a few months ago at one of the freetekno parties for kicks (the party was called On Suma Holliday so I was getting festive) and I swear to god I didnt even know that many people were there! The 'dance floor' got rammed to the tits. then all of a sudden everyone was scattered again.....

the no school breaks mix is pretty cool - before the breakdown gets into the shitty noises. that's the only one i've heard that i've liked.

Satisfaction is a great club track and a total floor-filler. I found it quite suprising that it was such a mainstream hit, sort of like Winx "Don't Laugh" became years ago.


I personally love the track, was a hit as Benny B. in the "electroclash" scene before it's emergence in mainstream.

Anyhoo, who cares, beats the hell out of a lot more underground tracks that are boring.
