Santa's Treats...

Silly random Holiday question...when you were a kid, did you leave Santa something for when he would visit your home?

My mom told us that Santa would have been sick to death of milk and cookies from all the other homes, so we would leave a beer, sandwich and a carrot for Rudolph.

The next morning the beer would be gone, half a sandwich would be in the plate and the carrot would have been carved as if a reindeer's teeth had been at it.


How about you guys?

When I was a kid I used to leave a carrot in a wooden shoe (because I'm half Dutch) outside my back door for the reindeer and a shot of whiskey with coffee (cuz I'm half Irish) for Santa... Okay I'm kidding about the whiskey. A true Irish child knows better then to give anyone his whiskey.

Actually we never left anything for Santa... we just really clean our rooms and shined all the shoes in the house.
If we didn't clean for Santa... then we wouldn't get any presents, instead we would get a RoZGA, which basically is bunch of sliver and black twigs tied together... with a little toy devil attached to them.
The rozga was for our parents to beat us with!

My Mummy was soooo cute when my brother and I were little ones! She used to put my cat's paws in flour and make him walk all around the house and chew up a ton of carrots and put so many presents under our christmas tree. It twas a truely magical experience. Ahhhhh good memories!

I used to leave carrots for the reindeers. I would make santa special gingerbread cookies and leave him beer ( which my Dad would drink). My sister, Brother and I would sit down and write him a silly letter thanking him for coming to our house. Santa (my mom) would write one back to us. Santa would also leave us maps in our stockings and we would have to search all over out house to find out presents. We don't get present maps anymore.
