I was there until about 12:30, enough to catch most of Brad's set I think.

I haven't been out to Tonic in a while. Crowd was nice, lots of smiles and dancing people. Ran in to a few friends. Overall seemed to be pretty good.

Brad played a great set. Perfect building opening set with lots of unreleased material. But I left before Sandra came on. So no idea how the rest of the night went?

Did see that guy Kel the beef jerky survivor dude.

Great opening set by Brad.

Sandra was better than I expected. Her mixing was pretty spot on. She was looking pretty hot too. She also lived up to her "notorious reputation"

Are you talking about that older guy who is always there? He dances like he's in Saturday Night Fever? I call him the "Disco Bandit" He doesn't like that name though.

^^^^ Ya I saw that guy too but he's a dead ringer for "Mohamar Kadafy"...He could be his twin....ANyway I had a great time last night...Some friend of mine were there along with Nat & Mat which was a GREAT surprise to see out on the dancefloor...Sandra Collins' manager Emma remembered me from Turbo when they were in Toronto last time and she gave me a free copy of Sandra's new CD "Cream"...Thanx Emma...You're a doll...


It was funny though that people thought my friend Sandra was THE Sandra Collins but Jimmy saw through this imposter and kicked her out of the dj booth...waydago Jim...Actually Sandra is a good friend of mine and she is great to party with

I WAS anticipating more people at the door but it was better because there was more room to dance...Brad C was great and loved his set and then Sandra came on to tear the house....I chatted with her a little bit before she came on and she was sweet as ever...

So I'm on the dancefloor just before sandra's about to come on and I'm like..."this is an amazing track...what the hell is it"...and then I realized IT WAS A REMIX OF SLAVE 4 YOU BY BRITNEY SPEARS!!!!

Crazy, that is a wikid track.
Fantastic night all around, music was excellent and the people were having a great time.

Highlight was watching Rentboy dance

I finally met someone from Tribe. I didn't know last night but now I do. By the way, I remembered and said hi to your friend for you on the air last night. And that guy, the "Disco Bandit" does look like Mouhmmar Kadaffy.

Brad Copeland rocked it, wicked set from him. Britney remix, WHAAAAAAAT?!?!? That was a decent track actually, I was really surprised when I heard the "I'm a slaaave, for you" sample. Is that an actual remix or just a song that uses that sample? Brad really took it up for Sandra's set to start.

After a few songs Sandra picked it up nicely. Really banging percussive stuff, I guess that's where her sound is headed, and I like it! About midway through the set it slowed down quite a bit though, some people yelled speed it up! And speed it up she did, she was just saving the best for last. Full on hard trance til the end! I don't think I recognized any of the songs she played at all.

I have to say she looks yummier in person than on the poster I got. Couldn't get one of those promos she was handing out though!

Is James Brown/Disco Bandit the guy that kinda stood still for a bit and then would bust out these crazy kung fu like moves, but kinda slow? I think I saw Kel too, I thought he looked familiar.

Her set went from proggy and built into solid tech-trance. She planned it well, she mixed witgout any apparent mistakes...as for the cheese...you're gonna have to explain yourself.

After her manager gave me her new CD I listened to it in my car and its pretty good.I especially like tracks 5,6 & 7 and the CD cover has lots of info and a couple of pix inside...very nicely laid out...I know that it doesn't answer your question but if ya get your hands on it I don't think you'll be disappointed
