Explain to me how it's the worst logic ever.
My logic is this:
You called someone's practice "teh ghey" because they use someone else's samples - or at least you, in your seemingly snobby remark, implied that is what they are going to do and that you thumb your nose at it.
I merely implied (sarcastically) that other people do it, probably people who you respect as producers. It's not "teh ghey". It's a common practice in production and looked at as the de facto norm infact - which is why there is a thriving sample CD business.
Here's the crux of my arguement.
If it were not for sampling, a great deal of the music you know and love would not/could not have been created.
Prove me wrong and then you can call my logic "the worst logic ever".
Or you can just realize that people create music in different ways and that sampling is not "teh ghey".
It's closed minded people who exude a 'holier than thou' attitude that are "teh ghey" - I'm assuming that's a negative thing, btw (sorry to all ghey people).
I'm not going to compliment someone's use of the amen break over and over again, but I'm also not going to slag them for using it, as long as the overall product is quality.
It's not the sound you use, it's how you use it.
