Do you buy sample packs? Just wondering if so, what file types to you typically look for: aif, wav (16 or 24bit) or ogg? I wonder what the most generally used, and most versatile file type is right now...

Nope roll my own... 24 bit would be best but then again everyone is listening to mp3's so if it's 16 or 24bit the general masses won't notice...

I am working on a series of sample packs at the moment (one electric guitar, one bass guitar, drum loops, etc etc). So it is for others to use. Personally if i was buying loops/samples i would want 24 bit wav....but i don't know the market that well.
