Sales Executive

Delegate Sales Executives are responsible for outbound telesales to senior management and executives in the Fortune 500 and beyond. Your market will be primarily North America and some international.

Candidates for employment should possess strong interpersonal skills; to identify potential delegates through research; the ability to communicate complex market and business ideas in a clear and concise fashion; a willingness to spend a vast majority of their time on the phone. Prior sales experience preferred but not necessary. The ability to meet targeted deadlines and the desire to exceed goals is a must.

Compensation: Base salary plus generous commission structure, medical, and dental benefits and paid vacation.

Essential Job Functions

· Lead generation and prospecting; internet, print and a/v media research and analysis.

· Business-to-business sales.

· Cold call organizations and potential delegates.

· Market the company's many conference solutions by way of phone calls, e-mail and fax.

· Coordinate individual and organizational team registrations.

· Complete registration forms and submit to customer service for processing.

· Timely collection of registration fees for submission to the finance department.

· Provide objective feedback on product performance.

· Create, update and maintain the product database.

Non-Essential Job Functions

· Compile and report delegate research and feedback to the Sponsorship, Marketing and Production teams.

· Assist in topic generation.

· Participate in telesales and marketing briefs.

· Submit individual key performance indicators to management.

Qualities & Skills Required

· Understanding of and ability to use Windows 2000 and XP; Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Minimum of 1 year of sales experience.

· Excellent writing, editing, and typing skills.

· Proven organization skills.

· Independent with the ability to function without micro-management.

· Ability to place 100 calls per day.

· Ability to maneuver on the telephone; reach the decision maker, pitch, probe, overcome objections, negotiate, and close deals.

· Proven ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines, and make effective decisions.

Other Skills / Abilities / Personality Traits

· Inside sales experience selling intangibles.

· College or University diploma preferred.

· Articulate, effective communicator, confident, assertive, strong negotiator, persistence, coach able, goal oriented, team player, possesses consultative selling skills.
