i made a tuna sandwich for lunch...last thursday. it spent thursday night in my fridge and then travelled to work with me friday morning. since then it has resided, tightly wrapped in the fridge here at my office. i didn't mean to abandon it but went out to lunch on friday and had a meeting where lunch was served yesterday. :(

so the question is, will it be safe to eat today? it has mayo, sub sauce, cheese and mustard on it if i any difference....

Anything that's been prepared, then wrapped up and put in a fridge for over 3 days should be thrown out....but if you're hungry, give er!

I wouldn't eat it personally... not only will it not taste so good... but Mayo is made from Eggs which goes bad fast and Tuna dries out overnight.

Is it worth the Risk? well... maybe if you turn green you can go home early.

If you're hungry I say go for it.

But I got to agree with deep though. Loosen the purse-straps a bit and buy something for lunch :)

Eating 5 day old tuna? Money can not be that tight ;)

well, i ate them (there were two), they were quite tasty.

they were on bagels so the bread was not soggy.

i just went from temp to contract, which means i will be makeing alot more money every week, but don't get paid for four weeks...so i'm budgeting again.

i microwaved them to make them into tuna melts.

no problems so far. i will keep you posted because i know you care. :p

Yes, keep us up to date :)

Microwaving them should have killed some of the bacteria anyways. Well thats my theory when I eat dodgy food.

MICROWAVING SIMPLY CULTIVATES THE BACTERIA

CREATING CULTURES OF MICROBIAL COLONIES WHICH SHALL INFECT YOUR BLOODSTREAM AND SPREAD LIKE A CANCEROUS DISEASE UNTIL YOU YOURSELF HAVE TURNED INTO AN ENTITY MANIFESTED BY THE BACTERIA ITSELF
