I don't f##king believe it!!!!!! Radio 1 aren't gonna play this mix!!!!!!!! Just because the queen mum's died (which is sad i must admit) they've scrapped the whole nights line up!!!!! Sebs show got scrapped, so did Westwoods and Goldfingers. There's only an hour to go b4 it should be broadcast and they're still doing the 'NewBeat updates ever 30 mins'. If they don't play it, i'm gonna be gutted cause i've been looking forward to this for weeks!!!! Don't let me down Radio 1!!!!! We've already had one reason to be sad today, don't give us another!!!!!!!!!

With virtually every other radio station now back to their normal playlists, why must radio 1 still churn out this weird "memorial" music. I never thought I'd hear Gareth Gates played on the Goldfinger slot!!! I don't want to sound disrespectful but its been on for over nine hours now with the same pre recorded news bulletin every half hour.
No one even explained if there was an alternative schedule for tonight.
Radio 1 just don't give a shit methinks

Well, I won't bring up too much of my own feelings about the Monarchy and their lack of contribution to society, but I feel the BBC may have got things a little wrong. The BBC are currently trying to be seen as more multi cultural and inclusive, more diverse and catering for all audiences. Which is why they go and piss away an evening of House, Hip Hop, Reggai and TEM, to play Gareth fucking Gates and Atomic Kitten, to pay their respects to a 101 year old white upper class English tradition.
Call me an insensitive bastard but I kinda think the tens or hundreds who died in the israili/palestine conflict yesterday deserve this more than a woman who's been pampered for all 101 years she's been here, and whom the media, and corporations have been waiting 30 years to cash in on her death and show ready made documentaries all evening.
Anyway I'm ganna go chill to Annie before I explode.

the fcukers arent gona air it. itz apparently too inconvenient cos they have already got too many DJs recordin mixes for them at the mo. wat a bloody joke. i cant tell u how angry i am. sure y dont they fcukin well cancel the wholes years e mixes. might as well like. no point airin other ppl if they wont even give the men like their chance.
we gotta get this sorted guys. not on.

I really don't know very much about the monarchy and its relationship with the people but it seemed like the Queen Mum was a decent person. Is this kind of backlash really called for because 2 guys didn't play some records one night because someone else died? Maybe I'm not so bitter because I'm gonna get the live version in 6 days?
