A friend of mine (who is usually pretty good at track id's and sample id's) thinks this record samples the 80's band Roxette. he said he was about 70% sure of it. I really don't know if that's right or not but I thought I'd pass it along. I have no clue about who produced it.

i heard a white label record (although it was a black label) with the name ROXY on it (no other info) and it sucked.

that's all i can say about that.

[this is simply a personal opinion] ;)

correction........not 'Roxette'.

It's samples the song 'The Main Thing' by Bryan Ferry's group 'Roxy Music'

Still no idea who produced it.

I dont think the song sucks, but I personally wouldn't buy/play it.

I have to disagree with you Deeno. I quite like it. And the sample comes from an old band in which Brian Ferry was the lead singer. They were called ""Roxy Music". The producer of this track is none other than our very own Paul Walker.

The bootleg is fucking brilliant.IMO
Apparently, it has some distribution in the UK and justifiably so.
It sounds like something Steve Lawler or Danny Howells would
play early in their set.
It's kinda deep but it has an infectious chugging groove - not peak time over the top. It's a fresh relief from all the same old shit out there these days.

I really can't see any local Toronto DJ's giving it a fair listen.

Well done.
