i ordered their black sunday cd from columbia house years ago and they sent me the radio friendly version. they totally had to leave "cock the hammer" off the cd. it was pretty wack.

i saw the movie last night, and that's the first time i had heard any of the tracks. i definitely like the mos def + massive attack track. i wouldn't know who was responsible for most of the other ones, but i only remember one vaguely dnb-esque track, so that's probably the roni size + cypress track. i thought it was okay, but i was paying more attention to the movie. IIRC, it fit the scene well.

i haven't really heard any new cypress since "rock/rap superstar", which i enjoyed. the best part about their stuff was muggs production. layers of weird shit dubbing around in your brain. lovely... :)

I actually like this track. At first I didnt, cuz I was comparing it to Jungle standards. But after listening to it a couple of times, Ive gained an apreciation. It has some good sounds to it.

Is there a no-vocal version around?
Because I think the track's tight, but the rapping has got to go.
Why couldn't Roni decide to work with someone good this time (like Rahzael)? or else I'm pretty sure if Dynamite was on the track it would be hype!
