I feel he's right up there with Bob Dylan as far as lyricists go. Abstract, "cosmic cowboy" storytelling, poignant meditative stuff...a true under rated genius.

Never been a huge “head”. ...but agree with you whole-heartedly. Took me years to get past the fanatics and into the band. ;)
