Wow, this was my first time at an RNB party, and did it ever live up to its reputation! The music was superb, and with open air and perfect temperatures what more could I ask for? Nigel Hayes spun a wicked set, but I wish it went on til surise, I'd still be dancing my ass off if it had. I love how house music brings together such a beatiful crowd and a wicked vibe. Nothing but smiles

This is how bad I wanted to go. Last night at Turbo absolutely destroyed my ability to walk properly. And I had nobody to go with tonight. But I drove all the way from Oakville anyways, and all the revs I drank sure fixed the soreness in my legs. I'm so glad I didn't miss this one. I hope there's gonna be another before it gets really cold.

last nite was alright, but not nearly as good as other rnb parties at sunnyside. sunnyside was setup differently. all the speakers were close to the entrance, only like a fifth of place had the beats kicking. u could barely hear it from anywhere else. RNB probably set it up like that because they were expecting rain.
the dj screwed up a lot. he kept messing around with the volumes.
it was still an alright night. prop to RNB, they always put on an effort to throw a good party.

MMmmm MMMmmm RNB parties at Sunnyside. Even when they aren't the best, they are still damn good.
Ever since the wonderful Iz & Diz party last year, I've had no choice but to compare everything since, to it. So far no equals.
The music was good but fairly standard through most of the night. Nigel Hayes selection improved towards the end with some jazzy and latin tracks.
I wasn't thrilled with the speakers and DJ booth being under the stairs by the bar, I like it much better towards the fountain under the stars. Maybe they moved it for possible rain or the noise complaints, which shut down the party with Larry Heard (after the UP Fest) earlier than planned.
Inspite of the above, it is still so nice to be outside in a beautiful setting, dancing under the stars to sweet house music. The weather and company couldn't have been nicer.

RNB & Sunnyside, parties not to miss no matter what.
