so yes
we differ in opinoin.
i throughly enjoy "tribal/disco house thing", I am a houser, i like house music.
Greg benz is good....if you like boring clubby trance anthems mixed poorly, but im sure he's a nice person.. much respect to him for getting as much play as he has. hes obviously popular in london and has skills...he's just not my "cup o tea".
i do agree ruckus is a great dj. one of the best in london imo.
but come on. London is throughly saturated with greg and ruckus, like what night of the week doesnt greg have a residency for?! And what party doesnt Ruckus play at?
Andy Capp, now there is a up and comer who deserves alot of hype. Big ups to him. So his track selection wasnt up to your standards, it was for me, his mixing was superb. Andy Capp has skills. and you can't deny that.
end of story

Yes I guess we do differ in opinion, but please don't think I'm trying to be rude or anything! Like you said Benz isn't your cup of tea, Capp isn't mine.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE house music, but I'm picky about it. I love hard banging house, but on the other side, deep house as well. Dj heather rocked my world when she came, I went right out and bought her album!!!!
Yes I agree with the fact that Benz and Ruckus are always playing, but I like the music that they spin. Very seldomly do I recognize a track that they play(especially Benz) it's thier style I enjoy....fast, hard. It's just my tastes. I have never cared for Tribal house, which alot of people don't understand, but it's just not something I enjoy.
Andy did have great mixing skills, I agree, but the music just isn't my thing, and i guess you know music better then me, cause I don't ever hear Benz dropping any anthems, but that's just my view.
It has nothing to do with track selection, it's just his style of music that he spins that I don't like.
I know you like garage, but I can't get into that either. Too much vocals and stuff, but again its just my taste.
I say props to any dj that is spinning for the love of the music!!! There is nothing better then seeing a dj going off to his own tunes!!!
and again, that just my 2 cents
Peace
