Timo was an awesome guy and a great friend to hang with - great sense of humor, open mind that was just teeming with intelligence and a willingness to see as many different sides as he could to an issue. He'd debate like a champ, and keep the conversation respectful and on topic when things were a lot more civil on the net.
After the party scene died down, I lost touch with him.

Oh my goodness. This is so sad. Timo was brilliant and hilarious. One of the all-time Tribe community greats. I just searched for his epic popcan-tabs thread but couldn't find it.
I only met him in person a handful of times, but for years I read his thoughts on a daily basis on this message board, so in that respect I felt I got to know him a bit.

Timo was a brilliant connoisseur of the absurd, and a particularly great listener when you had something to get off your chest. Rest well my friend -- see you in the next place.
