RIP MBoy

Although he hadn't been frequenting tribe recently, MBoy was certainly a fixture in the tribe community for many, many years. He was also a friend, and I had the pleasure of having a long chat with him last year about his battle with cancer, life, and a death he could see coming. It was a very deep bonding talk. and I'm glad we had it. My condolences to Kate and his family.

sad, he was such a solid dude, in every way. one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of spending time with.

RIP Duncan

I met Duncan a couple of times way back when and felt the same way, such a good soul. Very sad news.

This is so incredibly sad. I don't remember the last time I saw Duncan, but it was within the last few years. Though we didn't know each other well, we always took the time to step aside and get caught up. He was a beautiful soul. Deepest condolences to his friends and family.

On our annual boy's camping trip we constructed a crude but magnificent Viking ship in his honor. We set it ablaze and pushed it out onto the lake as a proper sendoff. Going back about 20 years, Duncan and I had the ridiculous tradition of screaming random numbers into the sky to greet each other. Every so often I belt out a "SEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY SEVEN!" or a "TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY TWO" to make sure I get his attention.

Miss you and love you buddy. See you on the other side.
