I'm glad I was able to see him at Ryze back in November. He really opened my eyes to what a proper house set is all about.

He was really on a different level.

I can't even this morning. I just got over mourning one of the pillars of the Brisbane rave scene dying at 45, and today Frankie... A real class act, and one of the few and true worldwide legends of our scene. RIP.

RIP Godather! :(

1991 was truly a life changing year for me. Very first time traveling abroad.

Dammit. So many awesome nights dancing to Frankie's sets over the years. He'll be missed.

Guess I know what I'm listening to on my way to work this morning.

Wow I didn't even know he had had his foot amputated in 2008 due diabetes complications after breaking it in 2000.

:(

Last time I saw him was Friday September 17th 2010

It speaks volumes for how respected he was that people from all walks of the scene are commenting about his death.

I don't think I heard a single negative thing about him. And he could play.

I'm regretting not making it out to his Ryze gig (I think I was sick).
