"Rez" for PS2, or other music games?

I want to pick up a copy of Rez tomorrow if I can find one, hopefully used.

Are there any other similar PS2 games? I thought there was a sequel, or at least a similar game since then.

Picked up Frequency and Amplitude on ebay for around $10 each.

Rez will cost $40 + shipping though... I dunno, is it worth that much?

Gitaroo-man looks fun too, but it's also $40+! Damn these rare games!

I doubt that it's worth $40 if you have the other two.

Here's a review if that helps at all. I've never played it either so I can't speak to the quality, but IGN is usually fairly trustworthy.

I know for sure that the game is really rare. I've never seen it anywhere for sale or rent (other than ebay).

I had rez on the dreamcast and while it was fun for a bit (especially if really really cooked), the music would now definitely seem pretty dated, and is more cheesy than anything. Worth a few plays, but I definitely wouldn't buy the game.

rez was fun, but amplitude was a whole other level of awesome. guitar hero is basically just amplitude with a guitar. but it's still the most amazing game ever.
