reseting vid settings in game

i inadvertantly set my res much higher than i should have in madden, so my monitors decided to shut down and tell me that the setting is out of my frequency range. problem is, i can't switch back because i can't see anything.

any hints? (aside from reinstalling)

you could try right clicking on the shortcut/ choose properties/ compatability/ check box, run in 640x480.
does the game have a 'safe mode'?
you might have to reinstall.
unless you feel comfortible editing the .inf file in the game folder.
or finding the setting in the registry(assuming your using XP )

i had to change the refresh rate in the .inf.. for some reason i was set to 49 Hz.
