Has anyone checked this night out?

What is the space like? Crowd? Sound?

I saw a flyer last week indicating that the line-up for this month included Nick Holder (on the 1st), Kenny Glasgow (last week) and Peace Division’s Clive Henry is slated for tonight. Problem is I haven’t heard a thing about this from anyone else, no one is talking about it. Anyone know the score?

my take is it could/ should be the next industry.....
They have the ability to bring in top notch talent, as they have already proven....
the space is wonderful, Me thinks it just needs time for people to catch on....

The area the space is in though looks a little sketchy itself. Its in this back alley off of Queen East just east of Sherbourne. Hate to think about what I would face coming outta there late at night.

S'funny...cuz me and my best friend were thinking about heading there tonight........

I wanted to know the age group of the crowd and i heard it was all youngsters (19-21)...is this true?

Also, what's the dress code?????

The Promoters are Marcus and His Brother Andrise from Element.

So the crowd will not be a young sketchy one, I would say it would be a good crowd.

I have not been there yet but I have been meaning to!

The Space is really nice. This night WILL take off soon. I'm thinking this will be a wicked night for summer 2002. New space, new people etc...

I'm pretty sure there is no dress code but dont quote me on that.

I went last week to see Kenny Glasgow and had a great time. The place is really nice and as far as I know the dress code is only "No baseball hats or ripped jeans". If you're drinking though it's kind of pricey (me thinks $6/mixed drink is a tad excessive).

I want to check it out, but I haven't had a chance yet. I'm now waiting until they bring in a guest DJ that I want to see.

How late do they go?

The entrance is on Sherbourne, not in the alley. Safe enough area to come out of at night. Been there a few times and always had fun. Crowd is older than 21, good atmosphere, nice dancefloor.

If you haven't been, check it out. I'm sure you'll like it.

The location of "It" is between Shuter St. and north of Queen St.

The entrance is on Church St.

Just to let you know. The back alley that you're talking about could be Dalhousie St.

And the area ain't that bad, that you'll get mugged outta the blue.

We tried to go last week and thought the place would still be pumping for Kenny G but it was shut down when we got there. I think it was around 3 or so. Boo to that.

I am also thinking about hitting it soon. Ryan, let me know if you wanna check it out next Friday maybe?

Well I was talking to Amtrak last night, because I hadn't heard anything either. Apparently it's still on...

People have said that its to be the next industry? Who knows.
