The raps quit playing like a team,Vince is trying to make the highlight reels on every shot.(pass the fuckin thing)

It was a tie in my books. The raps won the first 2 quarters, mav's won the last 2,so it was a tie. :p

you're full of shit!

who gives a shit how you get a talented team together, as long as you can do it? glen grunwald makes one good trade, and everyone's licking his ass...those are the same people who never wanted to see jyd and davis go at any cost a few months ago. the raptors have three talented players: vince, jalen, and donyell. the rest of them are GARBAGE. the team's problem isn't lack of payroll, it's lack of foresight to know which players are going to benefit the team, and which ones are mere window dressing. just because cuban knows how to pick players better than grunwald doesnt mean you have to shit all over the team. the mavs are a good team, are you afraid to admit it? i think so!

i think you're just getting up some balls because your craptors made a good trade....trust me, it may get them to the playoffs (BIG maybe) but there's no way the'll be winning a ring any time soon, you can bet on it. bitch.

Mavericks’ Comeback Moves Nelson
Past Riley

DALLAS, Dec. 15 (Ticker) -- Antoine Walker's hot shooting down the stretch helped move Dallas Mavericks coach Don Nelson into select company.

Walker scored 13 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter as the Mavericks outscored the Toronto Raptors by 30 in the final 22 minutes en route to a 111-94 triumph.

Steve Nash added 23 points and 11 assists and Antawn Jamison chipped in 23 points and nine rebounds off the bench to help Nelson earn his 1,111th career victory, one more than Pat Riley for second place on the all-time list.

"I'm just glad it's over, so we can stop talking about it," Nelson said.

"I have great respect for Nellie," Raptors coach Kevin O'Neill said. "I have great respect for anybody that's been in it long enough to have garnered that kind of recognition. He's a Hall of Fame guy obviously. He's one of the greatest coaches of all time. I hate he got it against me but I'm happy for him."

Dallas trailed, 63-50, before going on a 15-2 run, tying the game on a basket by rookie Josh Howard with 5:47 left in the third quarter.

"We were up 10 or 11, then next timeout, we were only up five, and the timeout after that, we were down," said Raptors guard Jalen Rose, who had 11 points. "You just can't allow that."

"We knew exactly what we needed to do," Jamison said. "We got the timeout and guys just took it upon their shoulders to hold up their end of the bargain and make it hard for them to score."

The Mavericks held an 82-81 lead before Walker nailed a hook shot with 8:06 remaining to commence a 12-2 burst, which he ended with a three-pointer with 5 1/2 minutes to play.

"They wore us down," O'Neill said. "They shot the heck out of the three-point line in the fourth quarter and took over the game."

The Mavericks made a season-high 11 three-pointers on 24 attempts.

Dallas improved to 12-1 at home this season and beat the Raptors for the seventh time in nine meetings, four in a row at home.

Seeing increased minutes with Michael Finley out for a second straight game (sprained toe), Howard had 14 points and 14 rebounds. He has double-doubles in his last two games.

"I thought Josh Howard played outstanding again," Nelson said. "He gets better with every game. He's definitely carved his way into the rotation, whether Mike is playing or not. When Mike comes back, Josh will be on the floor somewhere."

Vince Carter scored 21 points and Donyell Marshall added 18 for Toronto, which has lost three in a row after winning its previous five.

Toronto, which held a 29-28 edge after one quarter, opened up a 10-point lead late in the second before taking a 54-46 advantage into the half.

The Mavericks were coming off a 110-93 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday - their first road win in the series in 13 years - while Toronto lost to Miami on Sunday.

"We had to work way too hard for that win," Nelson said. "I was hoping we would have had a good carryover form the Laker win, but that didn't seem to happen. We didn't have enough energy at the beginning of the game as far as I was concerned."
