Given these three choices:

(please do this without cheetin')

A) Tim Horton's

B) Second Cup

C) Starbucks

which one of these three coffees has the most amount of caffeine??

Put them in order of most to least.

This is based on a scientific study that I saw on cbc newsworld..or venture or something like that...

can you put them in order from most to least? (caffeine content)

Okay

no one else is going to participate so I will disclose the results.

apparently:

The study was done by taking 3 samples from each coffe house during one day from three different locations of each coffee house.
Morning, afternoon and night.

The results were that :

The most amount of caffeine was found in
Second Cup
The least in
Tim Hortons
The smoothest coffee in terms of caffeine is
Starbucks.. which has medium amount of coffee compared to the high level of caffeine that Secon Cup has.

Wow, now I know I drink too much coffee. The results were exactly what I guessed.

i was definitely going to guess the three in that order :)

second cup coffee gives me the shakes, though if i have the choice between the 3 i'll usually buy it anyway (because tim hortons is hit and miss for lactaid/soy milk)

i also find that second cup coffee is too hot

starbucks more caffeine than tim's for sure
and then tim's

i buy fair trade if it's around, and will walk a bit out of my way for it
but if it's too much of a hassle i'll go the second cup/starbucks route

usually don't drink coffee anyway, only when i'm trying to make a school deadline

This servey means nothing, as each place has a different roast...

Darker/Stronger Roasts have less caffiene than Lighter Blends, or so I understand.

I should mention that this study was done for the regular brand of coffee...

not the different roasts.

the regular house brands.

well my take is comparing the mochachino's (?) of second cup/starbucks

guess it isn't fair to compare tim's coffee to that
but just assumed it'd be weaker

it depends on which brew.

starbucks and second cup offer you up to three different brews (mild, medium & bold), and these all have different levels of caffeine.

anyways, TIM HORTON'S COFFEE IS ASS.
