Just wondering.

If you wanted to visit tribe.ca, would you type in "www.tribe.ca" or just "tribe.ca"?

Does anyone actually type in the "www." prefix?

I don't even type addresses anymore. I just click links and go wherever the Internet takes me.

Buy a ticket, take the ride.

now that i think about it i'm more likely to type in the garbled name of something i vaguely remember in the search box and just click on the correct link when it comes up. i rarely type in addresses since i can't operate a keyboard properly.

google corrects my spelling.

i'm asking because you HAVE to type the "www." prefix to access my company's site, and i'm wondering how big a deal that is (i.e. i'm wondering how much traffic we lose because of this).

there is a technical reason why our site is like this. something about our site using two domain names or something. bottom line is that it would cost a lot to fix the problem, so i'm wondering whether it's worth it.

anyone have an opinion on this?
