it's reasonable to assume that if her box was full, you had not yet informed her of the connection. it's only been a day.
lots of people complained that such personal threads 'ruined the board', so the disclaimer "Board Ruining Thread" or "BRT" was commonly attached to the thread title so that people would know that the thread was intened soley for the viewing of that particular person.
not that it ever stopped people form hijacking the hell out of them.

back in the day, before vbb, in the time of ubb, about a month ago that is, there was no PM function and many threads were posted merely to convey a simple message to in-duh-viduals.
