Yeah... I would go, but flights to England are darn expensive and then there's the ticket and getting around and blech.

best way to get to continental europe cheap is to fly to london and then fly to germany/italy etc via ryanair or skyeuro. the have flights for as cheap as 20euro and usually no more than 60 if you book far enough in advance.
My friends flew to berlin for 30 euro each last summer.

Ya it's dirt cheap from the UK to fly. My flight from London to Amsterdam is 38 pounds
a ticket costs 54 pounds each and that's more that round trip place ticket from england to paris by ryanair/easy jet.
however, i'll be finished school and in europe with nothing to do until i start work
i have a cousin in bristol and an uncle in london so im hooked up for room and board
hmm.....this might be feasible.

Yup, I am going to homelands.....my friend just sent me an email!

I'm cool thanks, still working like a maniac and in
need of a serious mash up drinking and partying
session! You sound really well and cheery which is
nice, it must be the positive effects of the sun. Hope
everything else is going well for you. It's a shame
you cant make it to New York, to be honest money is
quite tight at the moment so i don't even think i'll
be able to go. ~she says sobbing into her cup of tea~
But.......the homelands festival sounds fantastic. The
drum n bass arenas especially grabbed my attention, as
you can well imagine!!! It would be great if we went
together. Or if you fancied coming over to glastonbury
this year that would also rock. I have some friends
going already and you would be more than welcome to
join us. And the bonus of that is, is that its for a
weekend and we get to camp out in tents, drink and
take lots of yummy blow. Great fun!!!!!!

The best thing is that Ill be back in England in time for all these festivals so should hit up at least two. At the moment Im looking at Homelands (in Hampshire) or Creamfields and maybe Global Gathering. The tickets are expensive but they are absolutely awesome and the atmosphere is unbeatable. If anyone can go to these then they definitely should.
