yea buta dread perm you can let grow out a good few inches before having to chop it.
You can wash your hair... you can buy special soaps for it thus stopping any foul smells from happening.
And it will look good cause I'm getting skinny tight wrapped ones not huge fat ugly ones.

Anyone who doesn't wash there hair is dirty. Cause I knwo for a fact you can wash them. Just your not suposse to shampoo them as much as normal. Or use normal shampoos.

Either way you people are ruining this for me hehe. Cause I really want them. But you're taking away the fun.

The best thing i have found for washing my dreads is Neutrogena shampoo the regular clear stuff with about 50 drops of tea tree oil added. My hair is always shiny and smells good. Just make sure to dry them very well.
Dreads are constant maintenance! Always twisting and ruffing up the roots so they continue to grow together tightly.

See, thank you. They can be washed.

    I understand they're high maintinance...

yah i've been struggling between getting them and not getting them. decided against until my hair is longer, but fuck do people ever have stupid misconceptions about dreads! If you take proper care of them, they won't smell, won't be dirty and gross, and will look hOt. Dreads look so good on some people!

Don't worry about what everyone says, enjoy the experience!
