tribe should have a health room.

i play a lot of squash. are blisters because of:

1. improper footwear
2. improper socks
3. soles of the shoes

a combination? how can i prevent them? does the 2-sock method help?

HELP! I CANT WALK!

When I was hiking in jasper I got blisters because my socks were to big and the friction rubbed them against my feet (the moisture didn't help either). Grant outfitted me with proper socks and no more blisters. But that's my only experience.

do you remember what his suggestions were? did you get a base layer and then an oversock?

my recent roller skating excursions have left me gimpy as well.

proper sock choice is essential.
avoid 100% cotton as it stretches too easily and causes abrasion.
try adding a liner in your shoes to make them smaller and imobilze the foot.

second skin, or moleskin always helps - old army trick.

Funny enough they used to say pissing on your own feet with help too? Strange.

i play squash 5 - 6 times a week, and have yet to develop a blister on my foot.

i wear adidas or teva socks i picked up at winners, and make sure my shoes are snug enough that im not sliding especially in respect to lateral movement.

what about relief FOR blisters? my gf says "pop the fucker", but there isn't enough water there yet.

Correction, it's actually called 2nd skin.
It's used preventatively, as well as to provide relief for current sores.

If you have to dance on feet like this all day, you look for some serious shit, and from what I recall, dancers swear by it.

It does if it enables you to dance on that the next day, and the day after... etc.

Considering squash is less intense on the feet, I'm sure it will do what he needs it to.
