Power Supply Monitoring

Does anyone know of any programs or ways to check the load on a power supply to make sure its functioning at a consistently safe level?

I'd like to know if the load I'm putting on it is manageable or if I should be looking at getting something more powerful, but can't find too much info about how to find out.

Go to home depot. Buy a watt meter (~$30) plug it in between the wall and your computer, and it will tell you how much power your supply is drawing.

You should start burning a CD/DVD to see the peak.

The rating on your power supply represents the maximum load of the supply.

Hope that helps.
