How many of you techies have this mixer? I really need to buy a new one and this looks like the best so far in my price range. My Biggest concern about this mixer is its duribility. I don't want a mixer thats gonna fall apart in a few years. I figure since techno DJ's abuse mixers more then anyone else you'd be able to tell me how they hold up. I wish the thing had ballanced XLR mains on it.

Peace & love. D

Yo, Dude

Berhinger makes a reasonably priced, decent mixer with balanced XLR outputs. You should check it out. Or just submit an go XLR to RCA (look at spending about $30 - $40 per cable).

as some of you know.....

i've had no luck with the pmc-270, its been back and forth to Vestax 3 times....the last time was my last straw dealing with them...the channel faders were fuct. The sound kept cutting out on one side of em...

naturally i spoke my mind and pretty much snapped...and got myself a pmc-275.Thing was i wanted this model (270 and 275) are basically the exact cept for the fader...and i love this thing!

i dunno, i know 3 people that have the 270 and there's are fine...so i figure i got a dud.

go with the pcv-275 dude.....nothing but good things on this thing, im sure Mr. Smalls can vouch with me! and yeah just do what derek says with the cables...

The PMC-27 is an older model Vestax, it's more expensive than the 270 or 275. They use same component's in it as the PMC-50 or 55, which is their top of the line mixer. It has the exact same function's as the 270-275, just with better quality parts in it.

Apparently it wasn't selling all that well, that's why they came out with the 270.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

G

I got myself a PCV-275 for x-mas. It's quite lovely indeed.
