It was none of the things anyone told me!!

seized front calipers. weird, since we hadn't been having brake trouble at all. some new front brakes and I've got myself a happy car. And an awesome in at the mechanic - no labour costs FTW!

Really though they should clarify what model the dude is driving, if its a 328i convertible he is clearly a douche but if its a 335i or M3 then that is a different story.

Completely false - EVERY model of BMW has a large following of giantdouche owners. An M3 is clearly a gorgeous car; however, it's also something of a status symbol, attracting fucktards by the hundreds in this city.

Balz - you threw your summers on already? I guess I should make an apt to get mine done soon.

Ride looks good man. +1 vote for not slamming it. :)

Girl I'm dating has those wheels (powdercoated black) as her winter setup on her white 335i cabrio. I fucking LOVE driving her car.

Nice score!

Thx guys, but definitely not dropping it...if it wasn't a daily driver, maybe. A little post-processing abuse here.

$1200 for a 2002 car sounds kinda cheap doesnt it?
where is the best place to read reviews of a certain car?

its a 2002 kia rio sedan rs.
I drove a kia as a rental awhile ago, I loved it.
our car is shit so ive been a trying to find a new cheap one to buy my mum, and loving the kia I drove Ive been watching for that on kijijii and shit. although the 1 review i found said youre better to stick with 2003 and up for kia. but quite frankly i dont how anything could be worse than our 1997 ford escort wagon, and $1200 is madd cheap.
it has 185000 kms - is that good or bad?

As gently as I can put this, there's nothing good about a 2002 Kia Rio..
At 185,000kms it probably has the shakes like MJ Fox and wheezes like a fat bastard trying to climb hills.
The problem is, they weren't well built cars back in 02. They're still only borderline "okay" today. You can also assume for $1200 it needs new breaks, clutch (if manual), timing belt for sure, and probably a pile of other maintenance things.
There's a reason it's $1200, and it's not a good one...

ok thanks,
I figured it was too good to be true. our car is making a new rattling sound, which im sure will cost another $500, it just seemed easier to throw it out and buy a new one.

hahahahahaha. I hit the GM dealership with a co worker yesterday who has fallen in love with the new Buick Regal.

I finally got to sit in the camero SS and its confirmed. I love this car. Would I buy one, I am not sure but I love its look.

My girlfriend got her staggered 19" setup on her Benz on Saturday. 9.5" rears. So dirty hot.
Need to get the fenders rolled now though. Rubs over big bumps.

What rims did she get? Any pics?

I have a 275 tire on my rears (9.5" width), good times! :D

I tried to twitter a pic but my blackberry shit the bed. She's staying at her place until Thursday probably, but I'll defo post pics once I get them
She's rocking 255s on the 9.5"
Toyo Proxee 4s. They improved the ride of the car tremendously!
She's got the sport suspension, and it's always been sort of coffee-tablish in the ride comfort dept. I thought with 19s it might get worse, but man, these Toyos are fantastic.
Euroline tuning do fender rolling if anyone is looking for a shop to do theirs. I'll be getting a quote from them tomorrow.
